Please be assured that the privacy of our visitors is of utmost importance to us. We collect no personally identifiable information about you when you visit our site unless you choose to provide that information to us. The specific practices outlined in this privacy statement apply to websites maintained by or on behalf of Palmerston Furniture & Bedding and its affiliates. How the Information is Used

How Long is the Information Retained

Palmerston Furniture & Bedding does not use “persistent cookies” or any other persistent tracking methods to collect personally identifiable information about visitors to its websites. Cookies are small files that web servers place on a user’s hard drive. They can serve several functions:

How e-mail is Handled
By sending us an electronic mail message (for example, an e-mail message containing information request), you may be sending us personally-identifying information. In these cases, we may retain the information as long as necessary to respond to your request or otherwise resolve the subject matter of your e-mail. Please be aware that email is not necessarily secure from interception or misdirection. For your own protection you may wish to communicate sensitive information using a method other than email.
We want to be very clear: regardless of the information being transmitted to any Palmerston Furniture & Bedding site, we will protect all such information consistent with applicable. For site security purposes and to ensure that this service remains available to all users, this computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise cause damage to the information on our websites. We use the information we collected for the purpose of communicating with our users, such as enabling users to receive e-mail notifications regarding deals they have subscribed to receive alerts about. Registered users will also receive email notifications including additional announcements about our products, services and newsletters. We respect the privacy of all of our users and offer an opt-out service in all of these communications. Subject always to applicable law, we may share your information (particularly, names and contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers) with companies that form part of the same group of companies as we do (the “Group Companies”). In order to keep our records up-to-date, registered users may access their own personal data and make any edits required to update their information. Users may delete their information from our database by sending an inactive account ticket to our support team.
